Accumulator battery

The battery is located on the right side under the boot floor.

A warning

Some commercially installed car radios are coding. Anti-theft coding prevents incompetent commissioning of the unit, if the electrical supply system is interrupted. Electrical supply system, for example, interrupted by disconnecting the wires from the battery terminals when removing the radio, or if the fuse blows radio. If the radio is coded, before disconnecting the wires from the battery terminals fix the radio code. If the code is not known, the only shop from Mercedes can be put into operation again, the car radio.

Wires connect the battery only when the ignition is switched off, otherwise it may be damaged by the control device of the fuel injection. Due to improper connection of the battery can be considerable damage to the generator and the electrical system.

Pay attention to the impeccable connection to the car body and clean contacts. High contact resistance of contacts leads, especially at start-up, overload electronic control devices and can in extreme cases lead to their failure.

5. Close the cover at the positive pole and fix it.
6. Set the time on the clock.
