PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check the size and condition of the crankshaft.
  2. Check the condition of main bearing shells. In the case of reuse apply a label in accordance with the numbering cylinders.
  3. Check the drawing and the diameter of the exhaust stud bolts of covers of rods and replace them if necessary.
  1. Check mate covers with rods. Put the cap on the connecting rod bolt in a horizontal position all the way into the connecting rod and ensure that the cover does not move. Otherwise, replace the connecting rod.
  1. Check the outer diameter of the piston, the condition of pistons and piston rings. Check the condition of the piston pin and the pin hole in the piston. On the issue of engines since 1984, check the clearance between the rod and the piston.
  2. Check the condition of the flywheel bolts.
  3. Apply engine oil main bearing shells and place them in the bearing caps. Place main bearing crankshaft. Install the crankshaft bearing caps.
  4. Tighten the crankshaft bearing caps.
  5. Check the axial free stroke crankshaft. If it is more than normal, replace persistent half rings in the middle main bearing nests.
  6. Assemble pistons with connecting rods, engine oil to lubricate the running surfaces of loose leaves and put them in the connecting rods and covers of rods. The label on the cover of the connecting rod should be directed to the intake manifold, and the arrow on the piston head - towards camshaft drive.
  7. Place the piston rings at an angle of 120 ?. However, they should not be along the crankshaft axis and perpendicular to it. This Teflon guide sleeve spring oil scraper ring must be on top of the lock ring.
  8. Using the tool for compressing the piston rings, insert the cylinder pistons with rods. Install the connecting rod cap and tighten the bolts of their fastening.
  1. Check the protrusion of the piston at top dead center above the plane of the cylinder.
  1. Attach the rear oil seal on the crankshaft flange.
  2. Slide the gland on the device 102 589 00 43 00, and press-fit it into the holder (in the spare parts supplied gland edge shifted by 3 mm in the direction of the engine, to avoid slipping working edges of a new oil seal on the sliding surface of the old oil seal.
  3. Install the crankshaft gear, sending it to the mounting groove band.
  4. Install the spacer leading oil pump.
  5. Install the intermediate shaft with persistent half rings.
  6. Screw the locking bolt.
  7. Place the sensor-distributor.
  8. Install the pusher shoe tensioner.
  9. Put the chain camshaft drive.
  10. Install the lower damper circuit.
  11. Attach the front of the crankshaft oil seal.
  12. Install the camshaft drive cover with a new gasket (note the different length screws fixing it).
  13. Tighten bolts oil receiver to the 2nd crank bearing.
  14. Mandrel 102 589 000 14 00 press-fit the new front crankshaft oil seal.
  15. Insert the key into the groove of the crankshaft hall.
  16. Place the hub of the crankshaft pulley.
  17. Install the crankcase.
  18. Lock the engine and tighten the pulley bolt with three washers.
  19. Install the pulley on the hub.
  20. Rotate the crankshaft before the piston of 1st cylinder in TDC.
  21. Install the cylinder head.
  22. Install chain tensioner camshaft drive.
  23. Replace the engine oil filter, the sensor-distributor, alternator, power steering pump, starter, intake and exhaust manifolds.
