Removal and installation of the fuel pump




Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Clamp suction and discharge hoses to prevent leakage of gasoline.
  2. Disconnect hoses.
  3. Disconnect the wires from the sealing insulating flange of the pump and move towards the wire.
  4. Remove the nuts of the pump.
  5. Remove the pump.
  6. Remove insulating flange.


Setting

Installation of the fuel pump is carried out in reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Prior to installation, check the condition of seals.
  2. Replace damaged seals and insulating flange. Note that the retaining ring pusher must be sent to the pump.
