Removal and installation of components of timing



Details of the installation of the intermediate sprocket pump motor Series 612


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of the installation of the intermediate sprocket pump motor Series 612 are shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the trim panel of the cylinder head cover.
  3. Remove the injectors (Y76) (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  4. Remove the cylinder head cover (11).
  5. Provernuv engine in the normal direction, bring the piston of the first cylinder to TDC - to happen combination of adjusting labels of a camshaft with a label on the cover of his bearing.
  6. Lock inlet camshaft (2) by means of a rod (3) inserted into the hole in the lid of the first bearing (A) and inserted into the hole gear shaft (5).
  7. Remove the chain tensioner assembly (9) (See below.)
  8. Remove the front cylinder head cover (4) (see. Section Removal and engine installation).
  9. Remove the chain guide (12) (See below.).
  10. Remove the pump (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  11. Mark the position of the gas distribution chain to drive the camshaft sprocket (6).
  12. Otboltite sprocket (6) from the exhaust camshaft (1).

Bolts with an asterisk (13) must be replaced without fail.

  1. Remove the sprocket (6), - try not to drop the guide pin (7).
  2. Remove the bolt idler sprocket (14) and remove the final assembly with the sleeve (15).
  3. Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness of the basic installation of camshafts (see. Section Setting up the base camshaft).
  4. Finally, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks of oil and fuel.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of the installation of the gas distribution chain tensioner series engine 612 shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Provernuv the crankshaft in the normal direction, bring the engine to TDC position of first cylinder, - the mark of a camshaft and its bearing cap should be aligned.
  3. Remove the air intake.
  4. Remove the chain tensioner (1).
  5. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to replace the sealing element (2).
  6. Lower chain guide
  7. Illustrative material to prepare for the removal and installation of the bottom part of the gas distribution chain guide 612 engine series are shown in the illustrations, which include all the links in the text.
  8. Remove the cylinder head (see. Section Removal and installation of a head (s) of cylinders).
  9. Remove the timing cover (see. Section Removal and installation of covers of timing).
  10. Remove the lower guide (5) carrying the pin (6).
  11. Installation is in the reverse order.
  12. Finally, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks. Also, clean the memory module on-board self-diagnostics.

  2. Remove the trim cylinder head cover (1).
  3. Provernuv the crankshaft in the normal direction, bring the engine to TDC position of first cylinder, - the mark of a camshaft and its bearing cap should be aligned.
  4. Remove the chain tensioner (9) (See above.).
  5. Remove the front cylinder head cover (5) (see. Section Removal and installation of covers of timing).
  6. Lock the camshaft by inserting the rod into the special hole in the cover of its first bearing and tucking it into a driving gear.
  7. Otboltite drive member (11) of the inlet camshaft.
  8. Remove the chain guide (8).
  9. Installation is in the reverse order.
  10. Finally, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Illustrative material to prepare for the removal and installation details tensioning straps on the motor 612 are shown in a series of illustrations, which include all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the cylinder head (see. Section Removal and installation of a head (s) of cylinders).
  3. Remove the timing cover (3) (see. Section Removal and installation of covers of timing).

The need for the dismantling of the oil pan (4) is absent, - try not to damage the seal pan.

  1. Remove the tension bar (7) with the carrier pin (8).
  2. Installation is in the reverse order.
  3. Finally, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks. Also, clean the memory module on-board self-test (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  2. Remove the cylinder head cover (10).
  3. Remove the centrifuge (17).
  4. By means of special rods (3), is passed through the first cover bearing hole and input drive gear (A), block inlet camshafts (2) of both cylinder heads.
  5. Remove the chain tensioner (8) (See below.).
  6. Remove the fuel pump (14)
  7. Remove the vacuum pump (15)
  8. Remove the front cover (4) of the cylinder head (see. Section Removal and installation of covers of timing).
  9. Mark the position of the chain on the sprocket (6) of the camshaft.
  10. Remove the sprocket (6) to the shaft journal (1).
  11. Remove the inlet camshaft (2) of the right cylinder head.
  12. Remove the bolt intermediate pump sprocket (12).
  13. Remove the sprocket (12) together with the cylindrical liner (13).
  14. Installation is in the reverse order. Ensure that when installing pump socket (18), the sprocket (12) has been deployed in the same direction as the zero mark (arrow). Be sure to replace the sealing element tensioner.
  15. Finally, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks.
  16. Also clean the memory module on-board self-test (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

  2. Remove the generator (G2) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
  3. Remove the chain tensioner (1).
  4. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to replace a sealing element.

  2. Remove the diffuser.
  3. Disconnect and move aside the right sleeve of the inlet charge air tract.
  4. Remove the locker protection arch of the left front wheel.
  5. Disconnect and move aside the left sleeve of the inlet charge air tract.
  6. Remove the left and right cover nozzles.
  7. Remove the injectors (Y76) (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  8. Remove the cylinder head cover (6).
  9. Remove the bypass air tube.
  10. Remove the accessory drive belt (4).
  11. Remove the vibration damper / pulley drive belt (5).
  12. Remove the vacuum pump (7).
  13. Remove the fuel pump (11).
  14. Remove the front cover (8) of the cylinder head (see. Section Removal and installation of covers of timing).
  15. Remove the generator (G2) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
  16. Block the inlet camshafts (12) of both cylinder heads.
  17. Mark the position of the chain on the camshaft sprocket (16).
  18. Remove the chain tensioner (20) (See above.).
  19. Otboltite sprocket (16) and remove it from the stud exhaust camshaft (15).
  20. Remove intermediate sprocket pump (23), complete with a cylindrical insert (22).
  21. With shock extractor (25) emboss guide pins (24).
  22. Pull up and out, remove the tension bar (26).
  23. Installation is in the reverse order.
  24. Finally, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks. Also clean the memory module on-board self-test (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
