Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the cylinder head cover. Remove the vacuum pump. Remove the cooling fan assembly. With the help of a special device dismember links in the chain and remove it from the engine.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Start a new chain (2) on the regular place and with the help of special tools make joint units. After completing the necessary arrangements (see. Section Removal and installation of components of timing), set the chain tensioner (14). Check the base camshaft (see. Section Checking the reference position of the balancing shaft (only engines Series 628)). Install the vacuum pump. Install the clutch cooling fan. Install the cylinder head cover. Start the engine and check for any signs of leaks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Illustrative material for checking the status of the timing chain Engine 628 series is presented in the figure, which includes all the links in the text. Assessment of pulling the chain is made by checking the position of the pulley (2) of the drive belt in a blocked intake camshaft. Uncover the right cylinder head. Remove the accessory drive belt. Provernuv engine in the normal direction (arrow), block the inlet shaft (1) using the tool (4). If the displacement of the pulley (2) is more than 11 ?� (ATDC), the chain should be replaced. Finished checking / replacement, replace the accessory drive belt and the cylinder head cover.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Open the hood and fix it in an upright position. Remove the cylinder head cover. Uncover the first bearing of a final camshaft of the right head of cylinders (see. Section Removal and installation of components of timing). Attach the head to the right holders (010 and 011). Make dismemberment of links and remove the old circuit (1) from the engine.
