Removal and installation of covers of timing



Details of installation of the front cylinder head cover of the engine 612 series


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of the front cylinder head cover of the engine 612 series shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the cylinder head (3) (see. Section Removal and installation of a head (s) of cylinders).
  3. Remove the chain tensioner (9) (see. Section Removal and installation of components of timing).
  4. Remove the preliminary fuel pump (13) (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  5. Unscrew the front of the cylinder head cover (5).
  6. Use a screwdriver to lift the ratchet (7) lock the upper chain guide (8).

The guide will remain in the crankcase timing.

  1. Pull forward and remove the front cover of the cylinder head (5), - try not to drop the guide pins.
  2. Before installation, carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the front cover and the cylinder head.
  3. Put on an interfaced surface of the lid sealing.
  4. Installation is in the reverse order. Track, that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.
  5. Finally, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of the front cylinder head cover of the engine 628 series shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Air discharge sleeve.
  3. Loosen and move aside the tube inlet tract charge air.
  4. Remove the injectors (Y76) right number of cylinders.
  5. Remove the cover (5) of the right cylinder head.
  6. Remove the bypass tract charge air hose.
  7. Disconnect from the engine block (above the generator) support bracket wiring glow.
  8. Remove the vacuum pump (1)
  9. Remove the high pressure fuel pump (pump) (2).
  10. Remove the screws and pulling forward and remove the front cover (3).
  11. Before installation, carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the front cover and the cylinder head.
  12. Put on an interfaced surface of the lid sealing.
  13. Installation is in the reverse order.
  14. Track, that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.
  15. Finally, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of the cover on the timing engine 612 series are shown in the illustrations, which include all the links in the text.
  2. Open the hood and fix it in an upright position.
  3. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  4. Remove the lower section of the soundproofing.
  5. Drain the cooling system (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  6. Drain the engine oil (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  7. Remove the trim panel of the cylinder head cover (3 and 4).
  8. Disconnect hoses cooling path (30 and 31).
  9. Remove the air intake hose (4/2).
  10. Remove the charge air hose tract (110/6), complete with a hose connected to it (9).
  11. Remove the electric cooling fan (10).
  12. Remove the injectors (Y76) (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  13. Remove the cylinder head cover (5).
  14. Provernuv the crankshaft in the normal direction, bring the piston of the first cylinder to TDC - label of a camshaft and its bearing cap should be aligned.
  15. With the help of a special device (03), lock the flywheel / drive disk.
  16. Remove the chain tensioner (22) (see. Section Removal and installation of components of timing).
  17. Release the guide bracket.
  18. Remove the thermostat (see chap. System of cooling, heating and air conditioner).
  19. Remove the front cover (7) of the cylinder head (see. Above).
  20. Remove the accessory drive belt (see chap. Engine).
  21. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the compressor K / V (12).
  22. Otboltite compressor (12) and, without disconnecting the line refrigerator, take him aside.
  23. Disconnect the cooling line path, let down to the liquid heat exchanger lubrication system (see. Section Service lubrication system).
  24. Disconnect hoses (17 and 18) from the water pump (19).
  25. Remove the water pump (19) (see chap. System of cooling, heating and air conditioner).
  26. Remove the sleeve (21), charge air tract.
  27. Remove the bolts (24) securing the oil pan from the timing cover, the other tray only loosen bolts.
  28. Unscrew the M8 bolts (25) securing the timing cover to the cylinder head.
  29. Remove the timing cover.
  30. If the timing chain must be replaced, remove the tensioner accessory drive belt.
  31. If the cover will be replaced, remove the liquid heat exchanger lubrication system.
  32. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces.
  33. Put on an interfaced surface of the lid sealing.
  34. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to replace the guide pins.
  35. Finally, check the engine for signs of leakage of working fluids (oil, fuel, coolant, the coolant K / B and so on.). Also, clean the memory module on-board self-test (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
