Service flywheel / drive disc
| To perform the work described below require the following special equipment: a dial gauge plunger type and a suitable heat source (blowtorch or gas burner). |
| To provide access to the flywheel / drive disk must be removed or the engine or transmission. The choice is left to the discretion of the Executive are subject to availability at hand suitable lifting equipment. |
Refitting Withdrawal | - Remove the engine or transmission.
- On models with Manual transmission mark the installation position of clutch on the flywheel. Gradually loosen and remove mounting bolts, remove the basket with guide pins and remove the clutch assembly.
- Lock by turning the flywheel / drive plate and remove the bolts securing it (see. Accompanying illustration).
- By marking the installation position of the flywheel / disk drive on a pin of the crankshaft, remove it from the vehicle.
|
|
Setting | - Installation is in the reverse order.
- Track correctness of combination caused during the dismantling of the landing labels. Tighten the flywheel / drive disk with demanded effort.
- On models with Manual transmission center the clutch disc on the guide bushing of the crankshaft, using for this purpose the old primary shaft of the gearbox or a special centering tool. In several stages, working in a diagonal order, tighten the bolts to the required clutch torque.
|
|
Checking the Status | - Evaluate the value of beats in contact with the clutch plate / converter of rotation (working) surface of the flywheel / drive disk. If the value of beats as a shot from the crankshaft and flywheel assembly in / disk drive exceeds 0.1 mm, the unit must be replaced.
- Check the working surface of the flywheel for cracks, deep scratches and scuffing.
- Check for the presence of teeth crown chips, cracks and signs of response.
| Replacing the flywheel can, disk drive - no! |
|
|
Replacing the flywheel | - Remove the flywheel from the vehicle and drill a hole ø 3 mm between the two teeth of the crown.
| The hole should not be cross-cutting to avoid damage to the handwheel flange. |
- Place the chisel on the drilled hole and the sharp hammer blows laminate crown.
- Remove the crown from the flywheel, then remove from the left landing surface when removing burrs and burrs.
- Polish the sandpaper several sites on povit new ring gear and begin to heat up last as long as the polished areas do not acquire a dark blue hue.
- Quickly put the crown on the flywheel teeth chamfers up and away from the flywheel flange. Make sure of reliability of landing the crown density and pressing it to the flange.
| Give the crown to cool naturally, in any case not spray with water! |
