Removal and installation of the flexible coupling of the steering shaft



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Quick-drying paint mark the position of the flexible coupling to the steering shaft and steering mechanism.
  3. Give tightening bolts flexible couplings (see para. Accompanying illustration).

  1. Open slot coupling with a screwdriver with a wide tip.
  2. Slide the flexible coupling to the side of the steering wheel and remove it from the vehicle.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before installation, check the condition of the rubber element and the flexible coupling splines. If necessary, replace.
  2. Achieve combination caused during the dismantling of the landing labels, then tighten the retaining bolts to 39 ÷ 49 Nm.
