Removing and installing steering damper



Models utilities (Van) (Utility) and Mini truck (Cab Chassis)

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props. Mark the position of the pivot point of the steering damper on the chassis (the location of the steering damper on models of utilities (Van) and Mini-truck shown in the accompanying illustration).

  1. Give nuts of the steering damper to the chassis and steering track rod.
  2. Remove the steering damper from the car, trying not to damage the rubber bushings.
  3. Hold the steering damper at each end, and a few times completely compress it, and then stretching all the way. If jerks observed during the damper and the point of jamming, it should be replaced.
  4. Inspect the damper on the outside for signs of fluid leaks, dents and other damage. If necessary, replace.
  5. Evaluate the condition of rubber plugs, if necessary, replace them.

Setting

Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Ensure registration deposited in the process of dismantling the landing labels GCP damper.
  2. Tighten the retaining nuts.
