1. Before removing it, disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
2. Access to the fuel pressure regulator will be significantly improved, if you remove the air filter (see. Subsection 6.3.1.2). |
3. Disconnect the connection of the throttle potentiometer. |
4. Use white paint or marker make a mark on the throttle body and the potentiometer. |
5. Unscrew and remove the two screws, then remove the mounting plate and a potentiometer. |
6. Installation, set potentiometer on the throttle body so that the arm has been properly installed on top of the axis of the throttle lever. |
7. Install the mounting plate, then align the marks made before removal, and slightly tighten the screws. |
8. Adjust the potentiometer. To this end, using a tester, set the measurement of resistance, check that the potentiometer resistance was as indicated in section 6.3.1.1. |
9. If necessary, loosen the screws and turn the potentiometer. |
10. When the potentiometer is set correctly, tighten the screws and connect the connection socket. |
11. Connect the battery and, if necessary, replace the air filter. |
