Throttle potentiometer

Refitting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before removing it, disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Access to the fuel pressure regulator will be significantly improved, if you remove the air filter (see. Subsection 6.3.1.2).
3. Disconnect the connection of the throttle potentiometer.
4. Use white paint or marker make a mark on the throttle body and the potentiometer.
5. Unscrew and remove the two screws, then remove the mounting plate and a potentiometer.
6. Installation, set potentiometer on the throttle body so that the arm has been properly installed on top of the axis of the throttle lever.
7. Install the mounting plate, then align the marks made before removal, and slightly tighten the screws.
8. Adjust the potentiometer. To this end, using a tester, set the measurement of resistance, check that the potentiometer resistance was as indicated in section 6.3.1.1.
9. If necessary, loosen the screws and turn the potentiometer.
10. When the potentiometer is set correctly, tighten the screws and connect the connection socket.
11. Connect the battery and, if necessary, replace the air filter.
