Brake caliper - removal, dismantling and installation
Attention! Describe the operations related to the brakes, equipped as a single-piston and block (twin-piston) of the cylinder. |
1. Remove the pads. 2. Remove the hose connection on the support (photo), disconnect and plug the hose. 3. Remove the top bolt and remove the brake caliper support with the disc. 4. Clean the caliper observing safety rules. 5. Carefully remove the piston with compressed air (photo), pre-wound cylinder cloth.

6. Carefully remove the cylinder sleeve (see photo). 7. Remove the bleed screw, remove your fingers from a support and covers. 8. Wash and dry the parts. 9. Check the condition of the piston and the cylinder bore. If you find signs of damage, wear and tear parts, replace the cover. Upon detection of corrosion on bolts replace bolts. 10. When assembling lubricate the piston and cylinder brake fluid, install a new seal (see photo). 11. Put on the piston cover, putting it in the groove (picture). 12. Enter the piston into the cylinder, without bias, then push Depress the plunger all the way into the bottom of the cylinder (see photo). 13. Install the cover on the cylinder. 14. Tighten the bleed screw 15. Coat your fingers with silicone grease and install the new cover into a support. 16. Subsequent operations are performed in reverse order. Bleed the brake disassemble.
