The rear drum brake pads -replacement



1. Raise the rear of the car and establish on supports. Release the handbrake.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. If necessary, pinch pad controller (Ch. 1)
4. Remove the drum, which rotate the drum, tap it hammer with soft brisk outwardly. If the drum can not be removed, the slide it evenly wrapping bolts M8 x 1.25 special threaded holes (photo).

5. Carefully clean the drum from dust and dirt.
6. Remove the pressure spring pads, which press the cap and turn it 90 ?� (photo).
7. Remove the upper return spring pads (photo).
8. Spread the pads and remove the spacer (see photo).

9. Additionally dilute pads and get them out of the slots in the regulator and pistons. Secure the Pistons from pulling out of the cylinders (to permit assembly without hydraulic pump).
10. Disconnect the cable from the lever of a manual brake.
11. Do not press the brake pedal, otherwise the pistons come out of the cylinder.
12. Check the condition of the cylinder covers and fluid leaks. If necessary, repair or replace the cylinder.

13. Lubricate the threads of control pads brake fluid.

15. Install the spring into the groove of the controller enter the lower end of the back pad and then the lower end of the front pads, slide the blocks and enter into the grooves of the wheel cylinder pistons. Install the remaining parts (see photo).
16. Install the drum and wheel.
17. Adjust the gap between the pads and drums repeatedly raise and lower the hand brake lever. If necessary, bleed the brakes. Lower the car.
