The wheel cylinder rear drum brakes - removal, dismantling and installation



1. Prepare a Kit cylinder.
2. Remove the drums and pads.
3. Place a pan.

4. Clean the bolts of the cylinder to the brake shield and fitting (photo). Remove the nipple and plug the hole in the pipe and cylinder.
5. Remove the 4 nuts and remove the cylinder spring washers. Remove the cylinder.
6. When disassembling, remove the covers, remove the piston heads and pistons. Remove the piston sleeve (see photo).
7. Check the details, scratches on the cylinder due to contaminants in the fluid.
8. If the condition of the cylinder is satisfactory, then rinse it off with brake fluid.
9. Lubricate the new cuff liquid and set on the pistons so that the edge of the cuffs were turned inside the cylinder. Assemble the cylinder.
10. Further assemblage is carried out in reverse order. Bleed the hydraulic brake and bleed.
