The cylinder head engines
The cylinder head of the engine 1,6-I 1 - a bolt, 15 Nm;
2 - a bolt, 20 Nm;
3 - a back casing of a gear belt;
4 - cylinder head;
5 - a bolt of fastening of the cylinder head. When installing it is necessary to use new bolts;
6 - Oil reflector;
7 - sealing cylinder head cover. If the damage is necessary to use a new seal. When installing the seals put on the sealing surface of a thin layer of sealant D2;
8 - the reinforcing plate;
9 - the cylinder head cover;
10 - a bolt, 10 Nm;
11 - the upper part of the suction pipe;
12 - a nut, 10 Nm;
13 - oil filler cap;
14 - a sealing ring;
15 - Housing crankcase ventilation; | 16 - seal. If the damage is necessary to use a new seal;
17 - a nut, 10 Nm;
18 - an arm;
19 - seal;
20 - the lower part of the suction pipe;
21 - a bolt 20 Nm;
22 - seal the inlet pipeline. If damaged, use a new gasket;
23 - screw plug 15 Nm;
24 - a sealing ring. If the damage is necessary to use a new sealing ring;
25 - Flange with pipe;
26 - a bolt, 10 Nm;
27 - seal. If the damage is necessary to use a new seal;
28 - a bolt 20 Nm;
29 - eye;
30 - cylinder head gasket. If you are installing only use a new gasket |
After installation of the cylinder head must be filled with fresh coolant. Burned or defective cylinder head gasket is determined by the following features:
- Reduction of engine power;
- Reduction of the coolant level. At the same time from the exhaust pipe goes white steam;
- Reducing the level of engine oil;
- The presence of oil in the engine coolant. The level of oil increases. In the presence of engine oil in the engine oil coolant becomes gray and has a foam bubbles;
- The presence of engine oil in the coolant;
- Intense release of bubbles from the cooling liquid;
- A reduction in the compression of two adjacent cylinders of the engine.
A warning  This section describes the operation to remove the cylinder head on the four-cylinder petrol engine 1,8-I. The engine 1,6-I are given individual guidance. Before removing the cylinder head, check that all hoses, pipes and electric sockets are disconnected from the cylinder head.
