Brake mechanism Girling

Removing the brake pads performed as follows (12.4):

Remove the bolt securing the lower guide pin, hold your finger from turning a wrench (Fig. 12.5);

Turn the support upwards on the top directing finger and podvyazhimte to the rack (Fig. 12.6);
Remove the brake pads from the caliper holder.
Install the brake pads performed as follows:
before installing the pad, make sure that the guide fingers to move freely in the holder, and slide the guide covers are rubber fingers are not damaged. Check the condition of the piston dust seal;

Check if the heat protection plate is installed in the recess of the piston;
insert the inner and outer brake pads in the caliper holder;
Lower the caliper on the brake pads. Click on the slide, so he took his position, then tighten the guide pin bolt torque;
check the brake fluid in the reservoir. Repeatedly press the brake pedal to pad pressed to the disk and re-check the brake fluid in the reservoir;
Perform the same operation on the other wheel;
Establish a wheel and lower the car;
recheck the fluid level.
