Install the torque converter

Lubricate the torque converter hub and edge sealing ring torque converter drop ATF (no more).
Insert converter to stop the transmission.
Rotate the torque converter and thus presses it with a small force to the gearbox.
The torque converter slip significantly further into the gearbox, the torque converter when the groove of the hub will engage into the driving wheel of the pump.
When installing the converter outer edge of the sealing ring can unbend "inside".
So again, remove the converter from the gearbox by 5mm.

The correct position of the edge sealing ring
Fig. 3.6. The correct position of the edge sealing ring

Thus, the sealing lip will take the correct position (Fig. 3.6).
Then insert all the way into the torque converter transmission.
The torque converter is correctly installed when no transmission of effort can be put to the motor flange.
If not, you should check the installation of the converter.

ATTENTION
If improperly installed torque converter, the engine and transmission is necessary to fasten with considerable effort that causes defects in the transmission and torque converter.

After installing gearbox, check ATF level and top up the oil.
