Removal and installation of the lock of a back door



When removing the lock of a back door, proceed as follows:
- Remove the rear door trim panel;

- Unscrewing the two self-tapping screws, remove the bracket (Fig. 11.65);
- Carefully remove the noise insulation;

- Remove the two screws 1 (Fig. 11.66);
- Turn the cover forward and simultaneously pull it upwards;
- Pull the seal out of the guide;
- Remove the screw 2 of the lining;
- Pull the guide window glass for sealing and remove;

- Remove the two screws 1 (Fig. 11.67) and remove the cover;
- Push the latch 2 below;
- Push rod 3 inside in the direction of the arrow and remove the clamp;
- Remove the door handle upwards;
- Open bracket, turn up and remove the locking rod to the castle;

- Remove the self-tapping screws 1 and remove the rod with 2 button in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 11.68);
- Remove the screws 3 to face head;
- Press the lock and remove the unlocking rod;
- Turn the lock out, disconnect the connectors and remove the lock.
Setting the lock of a back door in the reverse order, with the following remarks:
1) Adjust the release, for which:
- Close and then open the lock;
- Remove the unit with a clamp and adjust the traction;
- Press in both thrust into the guide;
- Tighten the screws 3 to the head end (torque 6 Nm);
2) Set the knob (Fig. 11.67), as follows:
- Check the seal;
- Press the holder in its place, put the cover and adjust the position of the seal;
- Pulling rod 3 down, insert it in the clamp inner castle;
- Tighten the bolts fastening the door handle 1 (tightening torque 10 Nm);
- Check the functioning and put the seal;
3) Install guide the window pane, as follows:
- Lubricate the seal and guide;
- Tighten the bolts guide glass (torque 10 Nm);
- Further installation guide make in reverse order of removal;
4) Install the door trim panel, for which:
- Mount the sound insulation at the door;
- Perform the desired panel in the new holes;
- Lubricate pin profile soapy water;
- Further setting panel doors are made in the reverse order of removal.
