Replacement gas-filled tailgate lock (Fig. 11.71) must be carried out as follows: - Open the boot lid and set it under the backup; - Slightly lift the latch and remove the emphasis from the gas-filled ball joints (2 pcs.). Install in reverse order. When assembling necessarily lubricate ball joints.
NOTE When replacing the gas-filled stops necessary to vent gas from the old lock, for which drill hole with a diameter of 4 mm, as shown in Fig. 11.71 (perform drilling, wearing safety goggles). |
