Replacing the tailgate
After painting treat tailgate anticorrosive composition. Move all the dampers and stoppers.
NOTE All components have to be removed from the tailgate until it is removed. |
Make sure that the components and wiring are installed in such a way that excluded them rattling. Install wiring harness using a cord.

- Partially disconnect the rear roof lining; - Pull the cable harness from the tailgate (leave it attached to the roof); - Disconnect the washer hose;
NOTE Removing the tailgate must be performed together. |
- Remove the screws from both loops; - Disconnect from the tailgate stops its opening; - Remove the bolts and remove the tailgate. The installation of the tailgate in reverse order, with the following remarks: - Lubricate the ball joints; - Replace the cover gently harness.

Adjusting the position of the tailgate (Fig. 11.75) can be done in two ways: 1) side and top view, for which: - Release hinge bolts to the tailgate on both sides; - Adjust the position of the tailgate and tighten the bolts to 24 Nm; 2) The position adjustment is made by installing the gasket between the loop and the body. It is also necessary to adjust the dampers to the tailgate closed without resistance, shock and create the necessary effort.
