Removal and installation of assemblage blower / evaporator service components

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Support the wheel chock.
  2. Forces trained professionals make discharge and the evacuation of a refrigerator path system K / V.
  3. Disconnect the battery (first negative).
  4. Loosen the clamp and remove the battery.
  1. Disconnect the inlet and outlet lines of a refrigerator path from the corresponding nozzles of the evaporator - immediately plug the open ends of the choke connectors to prevent internal contamination tract.

Do not tape the tape connectors - use suitable plugs.

  1. Remove the drain hose of the evaporator assembly.
  2. Remove the glovebox (see chap. Body).
  1. Remove the five mounting screws and remove the right lower section of the instrument panel trim.
  1. Remove the retaining screw and remove the side cover of the upper section of the center console to provide access to the lower support bracket dashboard.
  1. Remove the left and right fastening screws and remove the bottom support bracket dashboard.
  1. Disconnect the air intake hose from the servo valve wiring activate the air circulation.
  1. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the motor drive blower.
  2. Bend the panel carpet to provide a service cover.
  1. Give the four nuts remove the service cover from the engine compartment bulkhead.
  1. Remove the two upper bolts assembly blower / evaporator to the bulkhead.
  1. Release the two lower nuts
and remove the blower assembly / evaporator with mounting studs on the bulkhead.

Service components

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Visually vote outside the state assembly blower / heater.

Relay blower

Arrangement of contact terminals in the connector blower relay (terminal ?3 - ground)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the relay blower wiring.
  2. Apply a voltage of 12 V at terminals ?? 5 () and 3 (-) relay and make sure available conductivity between plugs ?? 1 and 2. If conductivity is absent, replace the relay.

Control relay activation and shutdown K /

Arrangement of contact terminals in the connector control relay activation and shutdown K / V (terminal ?3 - ground)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the relay.
  2. Apply a voltage of 12 V at terminals ?? 1 () or 3 (-) relay and make sure available conductivity between plugs ?? 2 and 4. If conductivity is absent, replace the relay.

The electric motor drive blower

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the engine wiring harness.
  2. Make sure of serviceability of functioning of the electric motor when power is applied to the terminals 12 ?? 2 () 1 (-) connector. At negative result of check replace the electric motor.

Resistive assembly motor drive blower

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect from the resistive wiring assembly.
  1. Measure the resistance between the contact terminals of the connector assembly of resistive. If the measurement results differ from the desired values, replace the assembly predrezistorov.

The servo valve inlet

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make sure of serviceability switching damper in fresh air mode when applying for plugs ?? 4 () and 6 (-) voltage of 12 V. Activation of circulation must occur at a grounding terminal number 3 slot.
  1. Faulty actuator must be replaced.

Termorazem

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Run the engine at idle.
  2. Turn off the A / C service for a few minutes and activate the blowing fan.
  3. Turn off the fan and stop the engine.
  4. Disconnect termorazem K / V.
  1. Apply a voltage of 12 V on contact plugs ?? 1 () or 3 (-) termorazemai using a voltmeter to measure the voltage at the terminals 1 () and 2 (-). At temperatures above 4 ? C, the measurement result should be 12 V at a temperature below 1 ? C - 0 B. Defective termorazem be replaced.

When the evaporator temperature below 1.8 ? 0.3 ? C termorazem should remain open.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Installation is the reverse order of dismantle of components. Ensure compliance with the requirements of the specification of the Head of System of cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.
  2. Finally, do not forget to recharge the A / C service by a qualified professional service center.
