Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path

The air intake

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of the air intake (1) of the intake air path.
  1. Remove the two mounting bolts at the front of the air intake.
  2. Disconnect going to the resonator chamber and remove the air intake hose.
  3. Release the clamp on the inlet to the air cleaner.
  4. Installation is in the reverse order - Track reliability of a tightening of the fastening clamp.

First (verhnepotochnaya) resonator chamber

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. First (verhnepotochny) resonator is mounted directly in front of the air cleaner assembly and is connected to the rear of the air intake vent hose.
  2. Disconnect from the resonator chamber vent hose.
  3. Release the two fixing screws and remove the resonator.
  4. Installation is in the reverse order.

Air Cleaner

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the air intake.
  2. Release the clamp to the air cleaner duct inlet air path.
  3. Releasing a spring clamp, disconnect the wiring from the sensor MAF.
  4. Remove the retaining bolt, release the two screws and remove the air cleaner assembly.
  5. Remove the retaining bolt and remove the air cleaner support bracket with a mudguard left wheel arch.
  6. Installation is in the reverse order, - check compliance with the requirements of the Head Specifications Power supply systems, engine control / emission control and exhaust the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.

MAF sensor

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. MAF sensor mounted in a pipe included in the air intake duct hose directly after the air path (see. Graphic design of the intake air path of the petrol engine).
  1. Disconnect the MAF sensor wiring.
  1. Remove the two mounting bolts she hinge, release the two fastening clamp and remove the tube with built-in sensor in it.
  2. Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness of inclusion into the air pipe path - marked with an arrow must point in the direction of air flow (to the throttle body).

The second (nizhnepotochnaya) resonator chamber

Details of installation of components of an inlet air path

1, 10 - the brake booster vacuum hose
2 - TPS
3 - Bolts throttle body
4 -Nizhnepotochny resonator
5 - Support bracket cable of a drive throttle

6, 7 - Section duct inlet air path
8 - Assembling the MAF sensor
9 - IAC valve
11 - PCV hose
12 - Upper radiator hose
13 - canister purge hose

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Release the retaining clamp, unscrew the retaining bolt and remove the resonator assembly.

IAC valve

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The valve is installed on the inlet section of the throttle body (see. Illustration design of the intake air path of the petrol engine).
  2. Switch off the ignition and disconnect the wiring from the IAC valve.
  3. Remove the two mounting bolts and remove the valve from the intake duct.
  4. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the valve and the inlet section of the throttle body.
  5. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to install a new gasket.

TPS

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. TPS is mounted directly on the throttle (see. Graphic design of the intake air path of the petrol engine).
  2. Switch off the ignition and disconnect the wiring from the sensor.
  1. Remove the two mounting screws and remove the sensor to the throttle body.
  1. Installation is in the reverse order.

Throttle Body

Replace the throttle body assembly must be carried out with the TPS.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The throttle body is placed at the end of the duct inlet air path and is connected to the air intake pipe (see. Graphic design of the intake air path of the petrol engine). Throttle body needs to be replaced in the identification of mechanical damage, as well as in the case of seizure disorders or stroke throttle.
  2. Switch off the ignition.
  3. Drain the coolant (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
  4. Disconnect the electrical wiring from TPS.
  5. Release the clamp to the inlet section of the throttle duct inlet air path. Disconnect the four ventilation hose.
  6. Disconnect the wiring from the sensor MAF.
  7. Release the clamp on the inlet duct to the air cleaner.
  8. Remove the bolt support bracket and remove the air inlet duct.
  9. Remove the support bracket bolts cable of a drive throttle, disconnect the drive cable and move it aside.
  10. Disconnect the throttle body hose, two cooling path.
  11. Loosen the bolts and nuts throttle body to the air intake manifold.
  12. Remove the throttle body and gasket.
  13. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the throttle body and diffuser.
  14. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to replace the gasket, make sure of compliance with the requirements of specifications of the Head of the Power supply system, motor control / emission control and exhaust the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.
  1. After connecting the drive cable, make sure that the throttle is fully closed, after which the measure free wheeling rope. The required value of 1.0 ÷ 3.0 mm - in case of need make corresponding adjustments.

Diffuser

Diffuser connects the throttle body to the intake manifold.

Details of installation of the diffuser

1 - the brake booster vacuum hose
2 - Fuel Pressure Regulator

3 - Support bracket diffuser
4 - purge solenoid valve
5 - Hose canister purge

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the two screws on the intake duct.
  2. Release the hose clamp on the intake throttle body.
  3. Disconnect the four vent hose on the throttle.
  4. Disconnect the wiring from the sensor MAF.
  5. Release the clamp on the inlet duct to the air cleaner.
  6. Remove the bolt of the support bracket of the intake duct.
  7. Turn out bolts of fastening of the gauge MAF.
