Removal and installation of the injection line
Details of installation of the injection line | | |
| - Relieve the pressure in the fuel system (see. Section Dropping pressure in the fuel system of a gasoline engine, the fuel filling path).
- Drain the coolant (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
- Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Turn out two bolts of the duct inlet air path.
- Release hose clamp section of the duct to the inlet section of the throttle body.
- Remove the four connected to the ventilation duct hose.
- Disconnect the wiring from the sensor MAF.
- Remove the bolts assembly sensor MAF.
- Release the clamp assembly to the air duct.
- Remove the bolt support bracket duct.
- Remove the bolts of the support bracket cable of a drive throttle.
- Disconnect the cable of a drive throttle.
- Remove the vacuum hose going from the inlet piping to the vacuum tube.
- Disconnect the electrical wiring from TPS and valve IAC.
- Disconnect the two hoses cooling path from the throttle body.
- Release a fixing collar and disconnect a hose assembly valve IAC.
- Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose from the air terminal.
- Release collars and disconnect hoses from the air distributor vacuum brake booster and Tempostat.
- Remove the two mounting bolts and remove the diffuser support bracket.
- Remove the support bracket lower bolt valve IAC.
- Remove the two top bolts intake manifold support bracket.
- Post the car off the ground.
- Remove the lower bolts of the support bracket of the inlet pipeline.
- Lower the car to the ground.
- Disconnect the heater inlet hose knee.
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum tube.
- Take the three bolts and nuts and remove the diffuser.
- Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator.
- Disconnect the supply hose from the injector lines.
- Remove the two screws on the highway.
- Remove the clips securing the injectors and remove the injector rail.
- Remove the two injector insulator (see. Section Removal and installation of the fuel injectors).
- Remove the pulsation damper.
- Remove the fuel pressure regulator (see. Section Removal and installation of the fuel pressure regulator).
- Carefully smooth all mating surfaces.
- Installation is in the reverse order. Do not forget to adjust the accelerator cable (see. Section Removal and installation of the gas pedal, adjusting the throttle cable).
- Finally, season with a cooling system, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks appropriate working fluids.
