PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Relieve the pressure in the fuel system (see. Section Dropping pressure in the fuel system of a gasoline engine, the fuel filling path).
  2. Drain the coolant (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
  3. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  4. Turn out two bolts of the duct inlet air path.
  5. Release hose clamp section of the duct to the inlet section of the throttle body.
  6. Remove the four connected to the ventilation duct hose.
  7. Disconnect the wiring from the sensor MAF.
  8. Remove the bolts assembly sensor MAF.
  9. Release the clamp assembly to the air duct.
  10. Remove the bolt support bracket duct.
  11. Remove the bolts of the support bracket cable of a drive throttle.
  12. Disconnect the cable of a drive throttle.
  13. Remove the vacuum hose going from the inlet piping to the vacuum tube.
  14. Disconnect the electrical wiring from TPS and valve IAC.
  15. Disconnect the two hoses cooling path from the throttle body.
  16. Release a fixing collar and disconnect a hose assembly valve IAC.
  17. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose from the air terminal.
  18. Release collars and disconnect hoses from the air distributor vacuum brake booster and Tempostat.
  19. Remove the two mounting bolts and remove the diffuser support bracket.
  20. Remove the support bracket lower bolt valve IAC.
  21. Remove the two top bolts intake manifold support bracket.
  22. Post the car off the ground.
  23. Remove the lower bolts of the support bracket of the inlet pipeline.
  24. Lower the car to the ground.
  25. Disconnect the heater inlet hose knee.
  26. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum tube.
  27. Take the three bolts and nuts and remove the diffuser.
  28. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator.
  29. Disconnect the supply hose from the injector lines.
  30. Remove the two screws on the highway.
  31. Remove the clips securing the injectors and remove the injector rail.
  32. Remove the two injector insulator (see. Section Removal and installation of the fuel injectors).
  33. Remove the pulsation damper.
  34. Remove the fuel pressure regulator (see. Section Removal and installation of the fuel pressure regulator).
  35. Carefully smooth all mating surfaces.
  36. Installation is in the reverse order. Do not forget to adjust the accelerator cable (see. Section Removal and installation of the gas pedal, adjusting the throttle cable).
  37. Finally, season with a cooling system, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks appropriate working fluids.
