Removing and installing sump
 | This procedure is one of those whose implementation does not require the removal of the engine from the car. |
Withdrawal | - Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
| - Remove the two top bolts of rack inlet pipeline.
|
- Post car over zemlney.
- Drain the engine oil (see chap. Current leaving and service), then screw and tighten with demanded effort drain plug - if necessary, replace the sealing washer.
- Prop up the front axle from the driveshaft.
- Remove the three screws on the front axle housing and remove the left sleeve bearing his suspension.
- Carefully lower the bridge.
| - Turn out fixing bolts and remove the reinforcing gussets, installed on both sides of the engine - for fixing every headscarf used four bolts.

- Remove the appropriate screws (3 4 pcs) and remove underbody protection and transmission.
- Remove the 19 bolts securing sump.
- Hooking a thin spatula or other suitable tool, carefully separate the pan from the oil guard - try not to bend the mounting flange of the pallet or damage maslozabornuyu tube.
- Remove the four mounting bolts and remove the strainer equipped maslozabornik, - try not to bend or damage the slinger maslozabornuyu tube.
- Remove one mounting bolt and remove the slinger.
- Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of components removed completely removing them from traces of oil, dirt and remnants of the old sealant.
- Inspect the pan for cracks, deformation and other mechanical damage. In case of need make corresponding regenerative repair, or replace the pan.
- Assess the pan drain plug, in case of need make replacement.
 | Sealing washer drain plug reasonably be replaced, regardless of its condition. |
- Check the condition of oil guard and strainer maslozabornika. Carefully clean the components, in case of irreversible damage, replace.

Setting  | The magnitude of the pallet protruding beyond the end face of the crankcase must not exceed 1.5 mm. |
| | - Put a pillow-type sealant Loctite Ultra Blue 5900 on the mating surface of the flange of planting oil guard and push the latter to the crankcase of the engine, which is also the mating surface should be thoroughly cleaned and degreased. Make sure that the sealant was applied to the inner side of the fixing holes and overlap at the ends. Screw the plate bolt and tighten it with demanded effort (9.5 Nm).

- Replace maslozabornik and tighten with demanded effort (9.5 Nm) four bolts of its fastening.
| - Acting in a manner similar to that described, apply sealant to the mating surface of the flange planting tray, then press the latter to the slinger, screw fixing bolts and 19, acting strictly in order, in several stages, tighten them with demanded effort (9.5 Nm).

- The further installation is made in the reverse order of dismantle of components. Do not forget to follow the requirements of Specifications of the Head engine to the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.
- Fill the engine with fresh engine oil.
- Finally, start the engine and check for any signs of leaks through joints installed components.
