Removal and installation of atomizers

Defective injectors can cause severe detonation engine and cause damage to the bearings. In this case, leave the engine running at idle and in turn weaken the union nuts nozzles. If the weakening of one of the nuts knocking disappears, it indicates the faulty nozzle.

1 - the air resonator and a resonant channel
2 - injection pipelines

3 - the fuel return line
4 - nozzles
5 - gaskets and washers

Faulty Injector may also reveal, in turn weakening the union nuts when the engine is running at a speed of fast idling. If after reducing the number of revolutions of one of the nozzles remains constant, then the faulty injector. The nozzle can be checked using a pressure gauge. (Performed in the workshop; the required spraying pressure: 110 bar).

The first signs of trouble nozzles:

  • Misfire
  • Detonation in one or more cylinders
  • The engine gets very hot
  • Loss of engine power
  • Overly strong black exhaust cloud
  • High fuel consumption

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect earth cable from the battery.

This data is erased from the memory of malfunctions of the engine or a protective code of a radio receiver. Before disconnecting the battery should read instructions in Section Removal and installation of the battery.

  1. Unscrew the air resonator and a resonant channel.
  2. Thoroughly clean the outside of the pipelines and returnable fuel injection cleaner cold.
  3. Remove the injection pipes complete, this weaken the union nuts on the injection pump and injectors slotted ring spanner.

Do not change the shape of the bend.

  1. Remove the fuel hose from the return line and loosen the lock nut, remove the pad and the return line.
  2. Remove the nozzle and put in order of installation.

Through the nozzle openings in the combustion chamber must not be dirty.

  1. Each hole is still gasket and washer that should be replaced.
  2. Check needle injector for wear and damage, remove soot wooden spatula.

In no case do not handle the injector nozzle or needle wire, file or sandpaper. Do not confuse the separate elements of the nozzles together.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. 4 Install new gaskets and washers.

Follow the installation position, the blue label should be facing upward.

  1. Install nozzle and tighten with a force of 65 Nm.

Padding holders nozzles can lead to deformation and galling needle injector nozzles or other damage.

  1. Install the fuel return line with new gaskets and tighten the nut with a force of 30 Nm.
  2. Fit injection pipes and tighten the flare nut with a torque of 30 Nm.
  3. All holders of nozzles slightly loosen the flare nut pipeline injection.
  4. Crank the starter until the fuel lines do not perform. Tighten piping to the specified torque.
  5. Install the intake silencer and the resonance channel.
  1. Connect the earth cable to the battery.
  1. If available, set the clock and set the security code radio.
