Introduction



Body Mercedes is self-supporting. Details base side, roof and rear fenders of a vehicle are welded together. The windshield and rear window are glued. Therefore, large faults can only be rectified by a specialist workshop.

The engine hood, trunk lid, doors and front fenders of the car are connected by bolts and can easily be replaced. During installation so be sure to withstand the appropriate size of the air gaps, or, for example, can knock the door or have a place of increased wind noise while driving. The air gap must in any case take place in parallel, that is. E. The distance between the body parts over the whole length of the air gap should be the same. Permissible deviation 0.5 mm.

Safety instructions when working on the body
