Self-diagnosis of the state of the system ignition and fuel injection

If there HFM- and PMS-control systems no longer need to adjust the engine speed at idle and carbon monoxide. The system automatically monitors itself and accumulates in the memory of the identified faults. Shop from Mercedes can identify the fault with the help of a reader, and specifically to eliminate them. One failure does not necessarily significantly detected due to the deterioration of road performance of the car. It is therefore advisable after driving a certain distance to visit the body shop service.

The contents of the fault memory is retained even when the battery is disconnected. Recorded in the fault memory is automatically erased in the event that during 20 consecutive trips they no longer appear. The recorded failure in memory can be erased manually by means of the reading device malfunctions.

When repairing a fuel injection system should observe the rules for cleanliness in relation to the power system and to carry out safety instructions in relation to the ignition system.
