Device combination

The newly designed instrument cluster has the following features:
1. Electronic speedometer. Electronic speedometer drive, in contrast to traditional mechanical drive via a cable allows for more accurate readings. It is primarily concerned with the lower speed range: conventional speedometers start to work only with a speed of 20 km / h. The device is installed on the E-Class, shows the rate from 1 km / h and thus facilitates the readings, for example in areas with a significant speed limit. These speedometer receives from control unit ABS. In turn, it processes the information from the sensor on the left front wheel. Information on the distance traveled is reflected on the LCD. The data is stored in the ROM memory of the instrument cluster when the ignition is switched off or removed from the battery terminal. If there is no key in the ignition to press the button on the left bottom side next to the speedometer, about 30 to appear indications of distance, temperature and time on the LCD.
2. The fuel gauge. Received from both sides of the fuel tank fuel level information (on the lever to the resistance value of the sensor) are recorded in the instrument cluster. When faults fuel gauge indicates "empty tank" warning light reserve fuel supply is off.
3. The tachometer. The signal is taken from the flywheel sensor and converted into a controller Motronic system of sine in linear.
4. Lighting devices. It is used so-called technique of light pressure with the light off is achieved a maximum brightness of lighting devices.
5. The indicator and warning lamps. Placed side in the corners of the instrument cluster. Regardless of the modification installed lamps which can be replaced when necessary.
6. The oil pressure indicator. This pointer is not previously familiar. The oil pressure is controlled indirectly by the level of oil.
Electronic payment instrument cluster can only be replaced completely with the exception of the index of temperature of the ambient air (SA). The board is held in the latch. Symbols warning lights, depending on the vehicle model has different versions.
