1. When the transfer of the ignition key to the "start" from terminal "50" of the ignition switch on the circuit voltage is supplied to the magnetic switch at the top of the starter with a positive self-switching and switching gears. 2. Accession to the relay lever moves the starter gear on the shaft of the armature and enters into engagement with the flywheel. 3. When the gear engages, through the magnetic switch applies voltage to the main contact of the battery. Pinion fully engages with the ring gear, and the circuit is closed - the starter begins to crank the engine crankshaft. 4. If the engine is set off and the key in the ignition switch is released, the magnetic field in the winding traction relay disappears. Lever to play in its original position spring return. The gear is disengaged and the voltage supply to the starter is interrupted.
