Withdrawal

This operation is performed on the removed from the vehicle engine each time the camshaft drive chain (for removal of the cylinder head and a camshaft), except for replacing the chain.

Lock rotation of the camshaft of the engine M 102


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the screws that secure the cover of the distributor of ignition.
  2. Disconnect the spark plug wire high voltage.
  3. Remove the cylinder head cover with high voltage wires and distributor cap ignition.

    If the head cover is hard to remove, it is forbidden to knock on it with a hammer to avoid cracking. Pry up the cover with caution.

  4. Remove distributor rotor leading pomehopodavitelnuyu plate and cover.
  5. Unscrew the top cover of a drive of a camshaft. Remove the cover gasket.
  6. Remove the top cover, striking a wooden mallet on the axis of the camshaft.
  7. Rotate the crankshaft before the piston of 1st cylinder in TDC.
  8. Remove the screw cap chain tensioner. Remove the O-ring and spring.

    Loosen the screw cap with caution, to avoid spring ejection.

  9. Remove the lower ring.
  10. Remove the tensioner.
  11. To facilitate cranking remove the spark plug.
  12. ). Make sure that the crankshaft is still in a position corresponding to the top dead center of the piston of 1st cylinder (stationary projection should be in front of mobile tags - see. Illustration Adjusting timing).
  13. Check whether the movable mark on the camshaft (the holes in the collar) and the fixed mark on the cylinder head.
  14. Remove the crankcase.
  15. Lock the flywheel from turning.
  16. Remove the crankshaft pulley with a damper by unscrewing the central bolt.
  17. Remove the Belleville washers.
  18. Remove the timing cover.
  19. Mark paint mutual position of the chain and sprockets of the crankshaft and camshaft.
  20. Put a mark on the camshaft sprocket and the shaft itself.
  21. Remove the pacifier chain inertial puller.
  22. Remove the camshaft sprocket by removing the bolts.
  23. Loosen the tension of the chain oil pump and remove it.
  24. Remove the chain camshaft drive.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make sure that the cranked and distributive shaft are in the timing adjustment.
  2. Put the chain on the camshaft sprocket, ensuring coincidence of labels.
  3. Establish an asterisk on a camshaft, making sure the alignment marks.
  4. Set the damper circuit.
  5. Put the oil pump drive chain.
  6. In the future, the installation is done in reverse order.
  7. Pour the oil and coolant.
  8. Remove air from the cooling system.
