Check the fluid level of steering hydrostrengthening

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Periodically check the fluid level in the system hydrostrengthening steering to avoid potential problems with the management of the car, such as damage to the steering pump. Proceed as follows.

Do not hold the steering wheel all the way to the bottom or vice versa to one side or another for more than five seconds. It can damage the steering pump.

2. Tank hydrostrengthening steering system is located in the engine compartment and has a screw cap with a built-in measuring probe it.
3. Park the vehicle on level ground, and cock a lay brake.
4. Engine 112: Remove the left air intake hose.

5. Turn left 1/4 turn cover (1) and remove the dipstick (2).

6. If the oil level of the cold must be between the ?MIN? and ?MAX? (3/4) pointer. Cold oil is considered if the temperature is about 20 ? C.
When warm oil (80 ? C) the level must be between the ?MIN? and ?MAX? (5/6) pointer.
7 .If necessary, the liquid level in the tank should be supplemented. To complement levels, use only new fluid, as even the smallest contamination can cause a malfunction of the hydraulic system.

If the liquid level in the tank drops below the zone corresponding to the temperature of the fluid, steering with hydraulic power steering must be checked by a specialist workshop, since there is a loss of fluid. In this case, the only option is not sufficient to confine the liquid level.

8. Replace the cover and tighten with a pointer.
9. Engine 112: Secure the left air intake hose.
10. With the engine running, turn the steering wheel several times from lock to lock. Thus the air is removed from the system.
