Replacing the air filter of the engine

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the 6 screws Torx (arrows on an illustration) T25 screwdriver and remove the air filter cover (1).

2. Pull up slightly from the air filter support (2) by the handle (3) and remove the forward direction of the arrow.

3. Wipe the inside of the filter housing with a clean cloth.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Insert the new filter element into the hole in the air filter housing and press down the handle to the support.
2. Put the air filter cover in place and tighten it.


Diesel engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the 6 screws (1) and (2).

At the 5-cylinder engine, remove the 9 screws.

2. Remove the side cover (3) of forced air distribution pipe.
3. Remove the engine cover (4).

4. Disconnect the air intake hose (1) by loosening the clamp (2) and slide back.

5. Disconnect the connector (3) from the air mass meter.
6. Remove the air filter cover (4) (arrow in the illustration) and remove it.
7. Remove the filter element from the housing.
8. Reset the service indicator (5) by turning it.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clean the filter housing with a cloth.
2. Insert the filter housing the new filter element. Make sure that the gasket evenly abuts the circumference.
3. Replace the air filter cover and fix it with torque 10Nm.
4. Dock connector air mass meter and fix it. Move the plug, check the reliability of its connection.
5. Put the air intake hose and fix its collar.
6. Replace the engine cover and screw it in by hand. Be careful not to pinch the hose or cable.
7. Insert the side cover charge air distribution pipe. At the same time, take care to foot entered the rubber clamps (5).
8. Tighten the bolts to 10Nm.
