Visual inspection of gearbox oil leak

Oil leak from the gearbox are possible in the following locations.

?� The joint between the engine block and gearbox (rear crankshaft oil seal and the shaft seal PPC).
?� Check the oil level screw.
?� Drain plug.
?� PTO shaft in conjunction with CPR.

Leak detection is as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The diesel engine: Remove the bottom cover of the engine.
2. Clean the gearbox housing with cold cleaner.
3. Sprinkle the possible leaks, lime or talc powder.
4. Pass on the car. To become liquid oil, drive on the highway about 30 km away.
Operation lifting and car installation on supports is connected with danger! Therefore, prior to the operation to check out the Poddomkrachivanie and towing.

5. Lift and establish the car on supports. Light the lamp and check the gearbox leaks.
6. Immediately eliminate leakage.
7. Diesel: Replace the bottom cover of the engine.
