Checking, cleaning and lubrication of the coupling device

1. Remove the ball joint coupling.
2. Remove the ball joint from the car.

3. Visually inspect the ball joint (1) and support (2). When dirty, clean the support it with a jet of steam and air dry. Ball heads clean water and a brush and wipe with a dry cloth. Should not be used for cleaning the spherical head pairs or any solvent, such as gasoline.

4. Measure the diameter of the ball coupling element (3). If the diameter is less than 39 mm, replace the ball joint.

1. Visually check for mechanical damage to the ball head.
2. Pull the handle and turn it into position ?«rot?» (?«red?») so that the handle locks.
3. Insert the ball head vertically in a support so that it automatically locks.

Green label handle should close the white mark on the ball head.

4. Close the handle, then it should not be able to move out.

1. Grease the lock oil for gearboxes, motor oil or multi-purpose grease.
2. Grease a clean motor oil axis of the handle (4) between the ball head and the handle and the axis of the shutter (5).
3. Lightly grease the following parts on the ball head:

?· The guide with the ball 6;
?· The surface of the shutter 7;
?· Guiding surface 8.

4. Apply a thin layer of grease the support (2) in places marked with arrows.
