Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the retaining ring (6h).
2. Remove the disc (6g) and disk spring (6f) with an external support
3. Set the extractor (073) for the disc spring (6d) and squeeze it until then, until the groove for retaining ring is released.
4. Remove the retaining ring (6e).
5. Remove piston (6c) with external support, carefully feeding air into the hole A.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the piston (6c) on the outer support.
2. Place the disc spring (6d).
3. Set the extractor (073) for the disc spring (6d) and squeeze it as long as the retaining ring (6e) is installed in the groove.
4. Insert the retaining ring (6e).
5. Insert the disc spring (6f) and drive unit (6g) to the outer support and measure the gap L. Insert the disc brake B1 together in the order shown in the accompanying illustration, and set them in turn.

6. Set the press (078) on the outer disc (70c).

7. Squeeze the drive unit up to the stop (until otmetochnoe ring will not be visible) (small arrow).
8. Measure the clearance ?L? between the retaining ring (6h) and outer disc (70c) at three points. The size of the gaps in the multi-disc brake B1 is shown in Table 1.
9. Adjust the gap retaining ring (6h), if necessary.
The thickness of the retaining ring: 2.6, 2.9, 3.2, 3.5, 3.8 and 4.1 mm.
