Transmission and torque converter housing

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Loosen the guide sleeve (21) and remove it from the transmission.
2. Remove the drip tray (3).
3. Remove the oil filter (5).
4. Remove the bolts (19a) and remove the electro-hydraulic control unit AT (19).
5. Remove the flange (48).
6. Press out radial seal (20), remove the gasket (67a), the retaining ring (68) and press out the ball bearing (67) of the transmission housing.
7. Remove the seal (18).
8. Remove the bolt (1a) and (2a) of the torque converter housing and transmission.
9. Remove the transmission housing (2) with the converter housing (1).


Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Apply sealant into the groove all along the Teflon rings (12a).
2. Set the gearbox (2) on the converter (1). Align the disc brakes B2 and B3.
3. Tighten the screws (1a) and (2a).
4. Measure the gap between the dog and the parking brake ball bearing. He should be in the range of 0.3-0.5 mm.
5. Place the gasket (18), press in the ball bearing into the back of the transmission housing.
6. Install the pads (67a).
7. Install the radial seal (20) in the transmission housing.
8. Install the flange (48).
9. Install and tighten the bolts electrohydraulic control unit AT (19).
10. Further assemblage is carried out in reverse order.
