Removing and installing multi-disc brake B1 and the oil pump

1 - converter housing
6 - multiple disc brake (B1)
6a - Bolts M6h32 (11 pieces)
7 - Oil pump
7a - Bolts M8h35 (7 pieces)
8 - Intermediate plate

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the multi-disc clutch K1, K2 and K3.
2. Remove the bolts (7a) and remove the oil pump (7). Remove the two screws in the opposite case of the oil pump and pull the oil pump out of the converter housing, tapping gently with a plastic hammer.
3. Remove the bolts (6a) and remove the multi-disk brake B1 (6) of the converter housing. Remove the two screws in the opposite multi-disc brake B1 and remove it from the converter housing, tapping gently with a plastic hammer.
4. Remove the intermediate plate (8) from the converter housing (1).


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Place the intermediate plate (8) in the torque converter housing (1). The intermediate plate (8) can be used multiple times.
2. Tighten bolts multi-disc brake B1 (6) in the torque converter housing (1). Installation position multi-disc brake B1 relative to the housing is determined by the torque converter guide pin on the multi-disc brake B1 (arrow).
3. Install the oil pump (7) and tighten bolts of its fastening.

4. Set the multi-disc clutch K1, K2 and K3. The illustration shows the oil channel E for clutch K1.
