Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the transmission with torque converter.
2. Remove the multi-disk brake B3 (133) gasket and spring (133b), by removing the snap ring (133a) of the transmission housing.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

The assembly is carried out in reverse order. Check and measure a backlash in a multi-brake B3. Gap ?L? in a multi-brake B3: 1.0 - 1.4 mm.

Install the brake discs B3 together in the order shown in the figure 12.6, and insert them one by one. Measure the clearance ?L? between the retaining ring (133f) and outer disc (133a) at three points. During the measurement, the retaining ring (133f) must touch the upper bearing ring in the groove of the outer brake support (2).

Adjust the gap via circlips (133f), if necessary. The thickness of lock rings 3.2, 3.5, 3.8, 4.1, 4.4 and 4.7 mm.
