Check and adjustment of level / replacement of oil builds bridges



Check and replacement must be carried out at the heated axle gear.

Front axle

Location filler plugs / control (1) and the drain (2) holes of the front axle housing

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Carefully wipe the surface of the axle around the filler / control (1) opening.
  2. Remove the oil - oil level must reach the lower edge of the hole, if necessary, make appropriate adjustment (use a funnel). Make sure that the plug has been tightened with demanded effort.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Prepare a drain container suitable volume.
  2. Rubbing the surface of the casing around the two holes, remove the filler (1) and the drain (2) plugs.
  3. Wait until the oil leakage, then screw into place and tighten with demanded effort drain plug (2) - if necessary, replace the pre-washer.
  4. Pour through a funnel into the gear unit the necessary quantity of fresh oil grades required, - the oil level should reach the lower edge of the fill / check hole.
  5. Screw and tighten with demanded effort plug (1).

Rear Axle

Location filler plugs / control (1) and the drain (2) holes rear axle housing

The procedure is similar to the procedures described above for the front axle.

In order to ensure proper access to the filler / level plug the car should be lowered to the wheels.
