Disassembly and assembly of the half-line



The construction of the half-axis of the rear axle

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the axle shaft (see. Section Removal and installation of semiaxes).
  2. Screw in the hub flange of the half-line (1) pair of wheel bolts and tighten them in a vise.
  3. Unlock and remove the slotted nut (9).
  4. Remove the retaining plate (8).
  5. With special press mandrels and remove from the axle shaft (1) tapered roller bearing (6), - try not to damage the rotor wheel gauge ABS.
  6. Remove the gasket (4), the cover (2) with the gasket (3) and brake shield (5).
  7. Remove the cover (2) seal (3), and set in its place a new, lightly brushing his lips sealing, - make sure that the value of penetration gland in landing slot cover is not more than 0.3 mm.
  8. Put the cover (2) on the ground (1), then install the brake shield (5), filling the space between the shield grease and oil seal lips (3).
  9. Sit on the ground (1) bearing (6), pursing his new lock plate (8).

Locking plate (8) mounted to the flat side of the slotted nut and should rest only in the inner bearing race! Protivorotatsionny locking the locking ring must be aligned Rout section of the half-line to prevent damage to the latter. Make sure that during the pressing of the outer bearing race cranks!

  1. Install slotted nut (9).
  2. Lock both slotted groove nuts (9) of the lock plate (8), - the nut must not be dispensed while rotating the half-line in any direction.
  3. Plant bearing (6) of rectangular cross section sealing ring (7).
  4. Replace the axle shaft (see. Section Removal and installation of semiaxes).
