Removal, installation and adjustment of the slave cylinder and components of the drive lock brake differential



Front axle

Executive cylinder

Details of the installation of the executive cylinder (1) drives the front axle differential lock

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the actuator cylinder assembly (1) hydraulic line - immediately plug the open ends of the line and the choke assembly to prevent leakage of brake fluid.
  2. Release union nut and disconnect the wiring.
  3. Mark the installation position of the cylinder (1) with respect to the sleeve of the bridge.
  4. Remove the screws and remove the cylinder (1).
  5. Install the cylinder on the regular place in accordance with applied during the dismantling of the landing labels.
  6. If you disassemble the cylinder (see. Section Disassembly and assembly of the executive cylinder drive differential lock), or replacement of components of the differential lock (see. Below), make the appropriate adjustment (see. Below).
  7. Screw the cylinder (1) gauge-switch of pressure (2) and tighten it with the initial effort.
  8. Secure the cylinder (1) on the crankcase of the bridge so that it remains possible to adjust the position.
  9. Activate the lock cylinder and cam clutch.
  10. Adjust the position of the cylinder so that it rested in a box - when you release the cylinder should not move back under the influence of efforts to develop the domestic spring.
  11. Tighten the cylinder with demanded effort.
  12. Finally, tighten the gauge-switch of pressure.
  13. Restore initial connection of electrical and hydraulic lines.
  14. Finally, make the removal of air from a hydraulic path of a drive differential lock (see. Section Removal of air from a hydraulic path of a drive locking differentials).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the slave cylinder (1) (see. Above).
  2. Remove the hinge cover (3) in the assembly to the drive shaft (see. Section Removal and installation of the drive shafts of the front axle).
  3. Remove the differential assembly to the ring gear (4) (see. Section Removal and installation of assemblies to brake differential ring gear).
  4. Remove the clutch switching mechanism (5), slightly stretching it in assembly with the tube (6), then detaching.
  5. Remove the tube (6).
  6. Remove the tube (6) polyamide ring.
  7. Wipe the removed components defective components replace.
  8. Install the nylon ring, pre-lubricated wear surfaces.
  9. Place the handset switching mechanism (6).
  10. Pick up the sleeve (5) and push together with a tube until the mounting hole in the socket sleeve axle housing (see. Illustration below).
  11. Install the differential assembly (4).
  12. Install the hinge cover (3) in the assembly to the drive shaft (see. Section Removal and installation of the drive shafts of the front axle).
  13. Install the slave cylinder (see. Above).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect from the slave cylinder assembly (3), a hydraulic line (4), - immediately plug the open ends of the line and the choke assembly to prevent leakage of the brake fluid.
  2. Release the union nut (5) and disconnect the wiring.
  3. Mark the installation position of the cylinder (3) with respect to the sleeve of the bridge.
  4. Remove the screws and remove the cylinder (3).
  5. Align the mounting socket (6) of the coupling switch in the middle of the opening in the sleeve housing.
  6. Install the cylinder (3) on the regular place in accordance with applied during the dismantling of the landing labels - do not forget to replace the gasket (1). Screw the mounting bolts, - the gear change must get into the mounting socket with the handset that should be the possibility of adjusting the position of the cylinder.
  7. Apply hydraulic or pneumatic pressure, make the cylinder work, then by moving, Abut it into cam coupling (arrow) - at the same time turn the half-line to activate the differential lock.
  8. Tighten fixing bolts with demanded effort, and then release the hydraulic / pneumatic pressure.
  9. Rotate half-line make sure of serviceability differential lock.
  10. Restore initial connection of electrical and hydraulic lines.
  11. Finally, make the removal of air from a hydraulic path of a drive differential lock (see. Section Removal of air from a hydraulic path of a drive locking differentials).

The procedure is similar to the procedure described above for the front axle, adjusted for the absence of the hinge housing.
