Verifying the gearing of the main transfer

Load when validating main gear engagement is provided by the driven gear is braked with the help of a special device (601 589 01 40 00)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Grease a couple of teeth crown drive pinion ink.
  2. Rotate the pinion gear back and forth while holding the driven special holder (601 589 01 40 00).
  3. Compare the resulting stains teeth contact with the graphics shown in the map below.

Average engaged (can be regarded as a satisfactory result when the contact patch does not go beyond the limits of the working surfaces of the teeth)

The displacement of the contact points to the bottom of the teeth, - the value of the basic seed is insufficient pinion size (make corresponding adjustments and repeat the test, after checking backlash gearing - see. Section Removal and installation of assemblies to brake differential ring gear)

The displacement of the contact points to the tops of the teeth - excessive landing size value of the underlying pinion (make corresponding adjustments and repeat the test, after checking backlash gearing - see. Section Removal and installation of assemblies to brake differential ring gear)

The displacement of the contact points to the heels of the teeth, - the magnitude of excessive engagement backlash gear (make corresponding adjustments - see. Section Removal and installation of assemblies brake differential with ring gear - and recheck)

The displacement of the contact points to socks teeth - sufficient amount of movement engaging gears (make corresponding adjustments - see. Section Removal and installation of assemblies brake differential with ring gear - and recheck)
