Removal and installation of semiaxes



Details of installation of the rear half-line

1 - ABS sensor
2 - Loosen the screws
3 - Bearing cover

4 - Axle
5 - Sleeve rear axle housing

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the parking brake shoes (see chap. Brakes and auxiliary systems).
  2. Remove the bearing cap (3) wheel sensor ABS (1).
  3. Remove the bolts (2) securing the cover (3) to arm rear axle housing (5).
  4. When removing the left axle remove slave cylinder drive differential lock (see. Section Removal, installation and adjustment of the slave cylinder and components of the drive lock brake differential).
  5. Remove the axle shaft (4), - try not to damage the rotor wheel sensor.
  6. Inspect axle shaft removed for signs of damage, if necessary, prepare closed.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - make sure that before you install the axle to platter was established sealing ring.
