1. Disconnect the battery from weight and remove the spark plug (see Fig. Subsection 2.2.3). |
2. wire from a candle of 1st cylinder, locate the appropriate conclusion on the cover of the distributor of ignition and a fine, apply a label on the body of the distributor or the tide of the cylinder, in front of which is the conclusion of 1st cylinder. Unhook the latch distributor cap (if provided), remove the mounting screws and remove the cover with the gasket. |
3. Set the parking brake and move the gearshift lever to the neutral position. Lift the front of the car and establish on supports. Remove the right wheel. |
| 4. Remove the screws and remove the plastic shield under the wing (arrow). |
| 5. Provide access to the crankshaft pulley bolt. |
6. On the crown of the pulley are mounting risks that are aligned with the scale of the index on the cover chain camshaft drive. Risks plotted at intervals of 5 ?. The first risk is 20 ? BTDC, and the last - 5 ? after TDC. Risk corresponding to TDC, marked with yellow paint. |
7. Turn the crankshaft pulley bolt head for clockwise (when viewed from the right side of the car) to align risks TDC on the crown of the crankshaft pulley with the index on the cover. |
8. In this position the crankshaft pistons 1st and 4th cylinders are at TDC, and only one of them is in the compression stroke TDC. If the runner distributor mark O indicates the 1st cylinder, the 1-th cylinder is installed in the compression stroke TDC. If the slider indicates the output distributor 4-cylinder, then turn the crankshaft one revolution (360 ?) clockwise to the position where the slider indicates the label of 1st cylinder. Now the piston of 1st cylinder is set to TDC of the compression stroke. |
9. Turn the crankshaft 180 ? clockwise with respect to the TDC position of 1st cylinder, you can set the piston at top dead center of each cylinder in accordance with the order of the engine. |
