Front crankshaft oil seal is installed in the housing of the oil pump (at engines MN and 2G in the cover of the oil pump), rear oil seal is installed in the holder.
The cylinder block and crankcase 1 - Rear crankshaft oil seal; 2 - a bolt of the gland; 3 - the holder of a back epiploon; 4 - pad holder; 5 - crankcase drain plug; 6 - laying cork; 7 - bolt main bearing caps; | 8 - a cover of the radical bearing; 9 - the bolt of the crankcase; 10 - oil sump; 11 - a lining of a casing; 12 - the block of cylinders; 13 - plate clutch |
Replacement of a forward epiploon PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. To remove a belt camshaft drive gear and crankshaft (see. Subsection 2.2.1.7) | 2. Remove the oil pump (on engines MN and 2G to uncover the oil pump drive) (see. subsection 2.2.1.11). | 3. Remove the old seal from the oil pump body (at engines MN and 2G from the cover oil pump drive). | 4. Press in the new oil seal, after brushing it with engine oil. | 5. Fit the oil pump (oil pump cover). | 6. Set the gear of the crankshaft and the camshaft drive belt. |

Replacement seals (engine mounted on the vehicle) PERFORMANCE ORDER | Front oil seal | 1. Remove alternator drive belt, the crankshaft pulley cover Timing, Timing belt, crankshaft gear. | 2. Special puller drive out the crankshaft front oil seal. | 3. Coat a new oil seal with engine oil. | 4. Press in the new oil seal device, which is a tube that is pressed against the outside diameter of the gland. At the opposite end of the tube is set thick washer through which a bolt is omitted. The bolt is screwed into the crankshaft and through the washer and the pipe evenly presses the gland into place. | Rear oil seal | 5. To remove the gearbox, clutch and flywheel. | 6. Remove the old oil seal puller or a screwdriver. | 7. Coat a new oil seal with engine oil. | 8. Press in the new oil seal using the tool, which is a flat washer of the same diameter as the gland. The washer has a central hole for the crankshaft journal, on which is installed the flywheel, and two holes located on the washer diameter, in which bolts are inserted.
