Crankshaft

The crankshaft and the crankcase

1 - the block of cylinders;
2 - the upper main bearing shells;
3 - the top persistent half ring;
4 - Front crankshaft oil seal;
5 - the oil pump;
6 - a lining of the oil pump;
7 - lower main bearing shells;
8 - bolt main bearing caps;
9 - a cover of the radical bearing;
10 - the bottom persistent half ring;
11 - crankshaft

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the connecting rods from the crankshaft. If you want to remove only the crankshaft, the cylinder head and pistons with rods can not be removed.
2. Remove the oil pump (see Fig. Subsection 2.2.1.11).
3. Remove the bracket 3 (see. Fig. The cylinder block and crankcase) crankshaft rear oil seal (see. Subsection 2.2.1.9).
4. Measure the probe axial clearance of the crankshaft between the cheek middle crankshaft journal and persistent half rings 10 (see. Fig. Crankshaft and cylinder block). It should be within 0,07-0,18 mm. Maximum permissible backlash of 0.20 mm.
5. Loosen the screws 8 and remove the crankshaft bearing cap 9 to 10 inserts, pre-marking of their position. On the covers 9 numbers stamped bearing cap ?1 should be from the camshaft drive.
6. Remove the crankshaft 11, remove the insert 2 from their beds of radical bearings and persistent half rings of 3 pre-marking their position. Clean and wash all parts with petrol.

Check

Inspect the crankshaft. On working surfaces must be free of chips, nicks, scratches and so on. N. Small scratches can be polished and zapolirovat. Measure the neck main and connecting rod bearings. If they are less than the nominal size (radical neck - 53,958-53,978 mm crank - 41,955-41,970 mm), they must be reground under repair size. If the crankshaft is cracked, it must be replaced.

Micrometer to check the roundness of crankpins. If the roundness exceeds 0,017 mm, sanded neck under the repair size. Check the runout of the crankshaft at an average radical neck. Permissible runout 0.03 mm; if the reading is greater than, replace the crankshaft. Measure the gap between indigenous liners and crankshaft journals. To do this, replace the main bearing shells, placing them crankshaft. On the crankshaft journal to put pieces of plastic thread "Plastigage", install main bearing caps with installed inserts and tighten to 65 Nm (6.5 kgf-m). Crankshaft while turning. Remove the crankshaft bearing caps and the magnitude of the flattening of the wire on a scale on the package to determine the magnitude of the gap. Standard clearance 0.03-0.08 mm. Maximum permissible backlash of 0.17 mm. Similarly measure the gap between the connecting rod bearings and crankshaft journals. Nuts of fastening of the connecting rod caps tighten to 30 Nm (3.0 kgf-m). Nominal backlash 0,03-0,076 mm. Maximum permissible backlash of 0.095 mm.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install liners two main bearings in the bed so that the projection of the liner came into recess bed, and an oil feed hole in the insert aligns with the hole in the bed. Liberally grease the liners 2 engine oil.
2. Establish persistent half rings 3. Lubricate them with engine oil.
3. Lubricate the crankshaft journals with engine oil and place on the bed crankshaft main bearings.
4. Set the cover 9 main bearing inserts 7 and persistent half rings 10 and lubricate with engine oil.
5. Install the cover 9, the average crankshaft bearing, insert screws 8 and tighten to 65 N ? m (6.5 kgf ? m). Check rotates freely crankshaft.
6. Install and tighten the remaining bearing cap in the direction of the central bearing. After installing another cap to make sure that the crankshaft rotates freely.
7. Check the axial clearance of the crankshaft.
