brake system

Brake pads. When driving on a wet road is recommended from time to time to press the brake pedal to dry pads and brake discs or drums.
After installing new brake pads must be earned extra. For the first 200 km run is not recommended without the need to brake sharply.
Corroded brake discs cause vibration pads under braking - they must be replaced.
Vacuum brake booster reduces the force on the brake pedal, thereby facilitating control of the vehicle. It works only when the engine is running. If the booster is faulty, for effective braking is required extra effort on the brake pedal.

The brake fluid level must be between the ?MIN? and ?MAX? the expansion tank (Fig. 1.58 and 1.59). At a low level, the emergency warning light in the instrument cluster.
During operation of the vehicle brake fluid level gradually decreases with increasing wear of the brake pads. With a sharp decrease in the brake fluid level should be checked for leaks and the condition of the brake system at a service station car.
Brake fluid absorbs moisture which causes corrosion of the braking system and lowers the boiling point of brake fluid. When braking, this leads to the formation of vapor lock, reducing system efficiency and effectiveness of braking. Therefore, replacement of brake fluid should be performed every 2 years. It is recommended to apply the brake fluid FMVSS 116 DOT 4.

WARNINGS
1. It is necessary to replace all brake pads mounted on the same axle of a vehicle, even if only one limiting wear pads. If Pads will be repeatedly established, before removal they are necessary for marking.
2. When braking due to wear pads generate dust which contains asbestos, unhealthy. Therefore, when cleaning the brake pads, try to eliminate her breathing.
3. Brake fluid is toxic and destroys the paintwork of the car body.
