If the slot lock cylinder is in a horizontal position I (Fig. 1.3), locking or unlocking the tailgate or rear door is synchronized with the central locking system. In this case the door or the lid can be opened and key. If the slot lock cylinder in an upright position II, the tailgate or trunk can be opened only with a key. Unlock the back door or the boot lid can be turning the key all the way clockwise (position III), while pressing the projecting part of the lock cylinder. Close the rear door or the tailgate dropping down until it clicks, and the slot of the lock cylinder must be turned to position I When the central locking.
A WARNING In case of failure of the central locking system locks all of the vehicle, including the filler cap of the fuel tank, unlock key. |
A WARNING After closing the tailgate or trunk lid always check its fit. To do this, try to lift it up. This verification will help prevent it from opening while driving. |
