Device combination

Symbols light instrument cluster are shown in Table. eleven.

Device combination
Fig. 1.25. A combination of devices: 1 - warning light of high temperature or insufficient coolant level; 2 - an alarm lamp of emergency pressure of oil; 3 - a control lamp of a headlamp; 4 - control of direction indicator lamps; 5 - warning light insufficient brake fluid level or the parking brake; 6 - warning light battery charging; 7 - indicator lamp glow; 8 - speedometer; 9 - coolant temperature; 10 - the index of level of fuel in the tank; 11 - tachometer; 12 - information display; 13 - odometer and the counter of daily run

1. The warning light 1 (Fig. 1.25), high temperatures or insufficient coolant level. When the ignition light flashes a few seconds, with a check of the cooling system parameters. If the lamp does not go out or flashes while driving, it means that the coolant temperature reaches the limit or level become minimal. Stop the car, stop the engine, check the coolant level and if necessary add it.

WARNINGS
1. When you open the cover of a broad tank of system of cooling on the hot engine must be careful, as the outgoing hot fumes can cause severe burns.
2. Do not spill coolant on clothes and body paint. Otherwise, rinse with plenty of water.
3. Remember that after turning off the engine hot after a while may start cooling fan, so to avoid trauma or injury, do not touch it.

2. Warning light 2 emergency pressure of oil. The lamp lights up when the ignition and should die away after engine start. If the lamp lights while driving, you should immediately stop the car and check the oil level in the sump of the engine. If the level is sufficient, and the lamp stays - contact the station maintenance vehicles.
3. The control lamp 3-beam headlights. The lamp lights up when the high beam headlights or signal switching / dipped beam.
4. Control lamps of indexes of turn 4. When you turn on the turn signal flashing the corresponding indicator lamp. Increasing the frequency of flashing indicates the blown one of these lamps.
5. Warning light 5 insufficient brake fluid level or the parking brake. When lit, this lamp indicates the parking brake or the low brake fluid level in the expansion tank. In the second case, check the brake fluid level, top up if necessary, and its address on vehicle maintenance and to establish the cause of the reduction. Fire of this lamp while driving can also be informed of the failure of one brake circuit, resulting in reduced braking efficiency. At the same time warning light and warning light 5 anti-lock brakes to stop the car immediately and rectify the fault in the braking system or ask for help at the nearest service station.
6. Warning light 6 battery charging. The lamp lights up when the ignition is switched on and should go out after starting the engine. Burning lamp during movement testifies to malfunction of the power supply system. Stop the engine and check the alternator drive belt tension, as well as the connection of the battery terminals. If the light stays on after the engine starts, it is necessary to address on servicing deport.
7 7. The indicator lamp for glow plugs (diesel). It lights up when the ignition is switched on. The engine can be started only after the lamp is turned off. In AAZ engine preheating system is automatically activated after opening and then closing the driver's door. When starting a cold engine warning lamp they sometimes do not light up after switching on the ignition, but the engine can start. The indicator lamp does not light up, and when starting a warm engine.

A WARNING
If the warning light with the sign, you must stop the car, turn off the engine, identify and correct the problem.

The instrument cluster includes the following devices.
1. Speedometer 8 (see. Fig. 1.25). Gives the vehicle speed in km / h.

Pointers dash
Fig. 1.26. Pointers dash: 1 - coolant temperature; 2 - information display; 3 - the fuel gauge in the tank; 4 - a speedometer; 5 - tachometer

2. Index 9 coolant temperature. Coolant temperature indicator only works when the ignition is switched on. Position the arrow pointer in the sector A (Fig. 1.26) indicates a low (insufficient) coolant temperature. Do not operate the engine at extreme temperatures as well as maximum and minimum. Working coolant temperature of 110 ? C (sector B). If the arrow pointer in the upper sector of the scale - the engine overheated. In this case should turn on the electric cooling fan motor.
3. The fuel gauge 10 in the tank. (see. Fig. 1.25). It works with the ignition on, it shows the amount of fuel in the tank in liters. If the arrow pointer is in the red zone, it remains in the tank of about 10 liters. Fuel tank capacity of 70 liters.
4. Tachometer 11 shows the speed of the engine crankshaft. To determine the frequency of the tachometer must be multiplied by 100.
5. Watches are electronic digital display 2 (see. Fig. 1.26). The time is set by pressing two keys 4, which are located in the lower left corner of the instrument cluster. Upper button ?h? set the clock, the lower button ?min? - minutes. Pressing the button takes the digital display time by one minute or one hour, respectively. Long press the button change the digital display time is accelerated.
The illumination of the instrument cluster is regulated by the handle 14 (see. Fig. 1.25).
