Heating and ventilation system

The control panel heating and ventilation
Fig. 1.33. The control panel heating and ventilation

The temperature and direction of flow of air in the passenger compartment is controlled handles on the control panel heating and ventilation system (Fig. 1.33).

The control panel heating and ventilation Termotronic
Fig. 1.34. The control panel heating and ventilation Termotronic

In addition to the heating and ventilation systems can be installed an automatic regulation of the interior temperature Termotronic (Fig. 1.34). She quickly sets the target temperature inside the vehicle and automatically maintains it constant.
Switches heating and ventilation or air conditioning is shown in Fig. 1.33 - 1.35).
I - the mode switch of the fan blower.
Switch positions:
0 - the fan is off;
1 - Low speed fan;
2 - average speed of the fan;
3 - high fan speed.
The switch position I between 0 and 1, the air supply to the interior of the vehicle is adjusted without a fan.
II - the switch temperature controller. When turning left into the cabin served cold air right - hot. For the system Termotronic numerals on the control panel correspond to the temperature controlled in the cabin.

The air supply system in the cabin

III - a distributor switch airflow. Depending on the position of the switch the air in the room flows through certain blowers (Fig. 1.36). The dependence of the direction of air flow from the position of the switch shown in Table. 12.
The direction of flow through the blowers 3 and 4 (see. Fig. 1.36) can be controlled with knobs of their blinds. The direction of flow is adjusted vertically by rotating the handle, the side of the blowers arranged in a horizontal plane - by moving the handles located directly on the shutters. The air is fed through the feet 5 blowers.
For heating and windshield glass windows of the front door, do the following:
- Set the switch I (see. Fig. 1.33 - 1.35) in the 3-position;
- Turn the switch II and III clockwise until it stops;
- Blinds blowers 3 (see. Fig. 1.36);
- Adjust the blinds blowers 4 so that the flow of air supplied to the glass windows of the front doors.
To prevent condensation ("sweating") on the windshield and front door glass windows, do the following:
- Set the switch I (see. Fig. 1.33 - 1.35) in position 2 or 3;
- Turn the switch II as fully clockwise (to activate the maximum air heating) - Termotronic system will automatically maintain the desired temperature;
- Turn the switch III to fully clockwise (position )
- Blinds blowers 3 (see. Fig. 1.36);
- Adjust the blinds blowers 4 so that the flow of air supplied to the glass windows of the front doors.
For rapid warming of the air in the passenger compartment of a vehicle not equipped with the system Termotronic, follow these steps:
- Set the switch I (see. Fig. 1.33) in the 3-position;
- Set the switch position II, to create the required temperature;
- Set the position of the III between characters and . When in this mode, "misted" glass windows of the front door, set the III position between characters and
- Blinds blowers 3 (see. Fig. 1.36);
- Adjust the position of the blinds 4 blowers.
For rapid warming of the air in the cabin and maintain a constant temperature on the cars equipped with the system Termotronic, follow these steps:
- Set the switch I (see. Fig. 1.34) in the 3-position;
- Set the switch to the desired position II (the recommended temperature of the interior air +22 ? C);
- Set the position of the III . In this position, switch the heating system operates at maximum efficiency.
- Blinds blowers 3 (see. Fig. 1.36);
- Adjust the position of the blinds 4 blowers.
For the interior ventilation of fresh air:
Select the switch position I (see. to Fig. 1.33 - 1.35);
Turn the switch II anti-clockwise - heating is switched off;
set the position of the III ;
Open the blinds blowers 3 and 4 (see. Fig. 1.36).

The air conditioning system (on vehicles corresponding complete set) is activated by pressing buttons IV (see. Fig. 1.35): ?norm? - fresh air supply or ?max? - circulation of air inside the passenger compartment. When the buttons are mounted in a light indicator lamps. The system is switched off by pressing a button - the corresponding indicator lamp is extinguished.
The air conditioning system operates only when the blower fan (switch I in position from 1 to 4 cm. Fig. 1.35), with the engine running and the outside air temperature is higher than +5 ? C.
To quickly cool the air in the passenger compartment, perform the following steps:
- Pick up all the glass windows of the doors;
- Set the switch I (see. Fig. 1.35) in position 4;
- Turn the switch II anti-clockwise - heating is switched off;
- Set the position of the III ;
- Click IV ?max?;
- Open the blinds blowers 3 and 4 (see. Fig. 1.36).
In this position, air enters the air-conditioning of the passenger compartment and is rapidly cooled.
To reduce the interior temperature, follow these steps:
- Set the switch I (see. Fig. 1.35) to any position from 1 to 4;
- Set the switch II at any position;
- Set the switch to any position III;
- Click IV ?norm?;
- Adjust the blinds blowers 3 and 4 (see. Fig. 1.36).
In this position, air enters the air conditioner outside (fresh air mode) and cooled.
