Oil crankcase
Removing the oil sump in the following order: - Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery; - Raise the front of the car and set it on the stand; - To improve access to the sump disconnect right drive shaft from the gearbox;

- For vehicles with engine AFN remove the oil pan casing (Fig. 3.73);

- Remove the bolt and remove the protective plate from the flywheel the gearbox. Remove the bolts 10 (see. Fig. 3.69) sump 9 to the cylinder block of the engine 1; - Remove the oil sump 9 with the gasket. Check the condition of the strainer and, if necessary, clean or replace it. Install the oil pan in the following order: - Clean the mating surface of the oil pan and the engine block from the remnants of old gasket;
A WARNING Clean the mating surfaces should be careful not to scratch them because the oil pressure in the engine is running can lead to leaks through scratches, nicks, etc. Defects in the mating surfaces. |
- Apply a thin layer of sealant on the mating surfaces of the oil sump and the engine block; - Install a new gasket on the oil pan, install the oil sump to the engine and fix bolts, observing the established order and torques; Installation Removal of elements made in sequence, return to removal.
